The Yellow Grass Dart (Taractrocera archias quinta)
The genus Taractrocera is unique amongst the Hesperiidae (or Skipper family) where the antennae does not have an apiculus (that's the hook at the end of the clubbed antennae that most Skippers feature). Here, the Yellow Grass Dart (Taractrocera archias quinta) perches on a flower of the Elephant's Foot weed. ButterflyCircle member Loke PF got this well-composed shot on a wet day where the flower was still wet with droplets of water.
