The essays are based around a variety of interesting scientific topics, and the goal is primarily to educate the discerning lay reader in topics of particular interest in natural history. Our current essay is about salt and briefly discusses the phenomenon of butterfly puddling, whereby diluted sodium is concentrated to be used in copulation. We try to add value to all of our essays by using images of the subjects, and I came across your beautiful photographs which would be perfect for illustrating our essay.

I am writing to you to ask if there is any chance we could obtain your permission to use some of these images in our essay, in particular the close-up of the abdomen of the fivebar swordtail? We would of course give the appropriate acknowledgment in the image captions (including a link back to this site) if you were comfortable with us using the images. Any help would be very much appreciated!

Kind regards,
JaneJane.Pardoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13299758032231995973noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432400397162178532.post-10535802619531580952012-01-30T15:56:07.523+08:002012-01-30T15:56:07.523+08:00Thanks for visiting, Jane. Thanks for visiting, Jane.Commanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03035224272922037277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432400397162178532.post-57556021780309727072012-01-30T10:46:56.194+08:002012-01-30T10:46:56.194+08:00Very interesting and informative blog.Very interesting and informative blog.Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06631276976723298479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432400397162178532.post-25451137786208231142008-11-26T15:06:00.000+08:002008-11-26T15:06:00.000+08:00Thank you, Alice, and glad you dropped by the blog...Thank you, Alice, and glad you dropped by the blog.
